Coordinator: Roger Bair

Roger Bair has gathered a group of Knights from our parish to assist with small tasks around the house that for whatever reason you may not be able to accomplish. Here is their introduction:

“I can’t change the light bulb in the ceiling”… “My door lock isn’t working right”… “I can’t get the screens up for the winter”… “This light switch doesn’t work”… “The yard is full of leaves”… and a thousand other house related issues for which you just need a little help. Handy Hands is what we intend to provide to all our parishioners as part of St. Jude’s Helping Hands ministry.

Fortunately, we have a group of eager Knights of Columbus members who are “handy with their hands”. We will come to your home, assess what needs to be done, then come back and do the job.

The cost to you is picking up the phone and calling the Church at 517-669-8335 or by emailing Rob Strouse ([email protected]). If you want to “tip us” for our work, how about just one prayer? That’s it… all you have to do. So, make a list of those items and contact us. Don’t be bashful or reluctant because the things you need are so small. Maybe you think your need is too big? Not to worry because we are in contact with another group, “Tuesday Toolmen”, who can do bigger jobs such as putting in a wheelchair ramp, etc. How can we help?
